Bonnie Story Obituary

Bonnie Mae Story, 67 ESCONDIDO -- Bonnie Mae Story, 67, passed away Wednesday, February 25th, 2009. Bonnie was born in Los Angeles on July 7th 1941. She attended K-10 in Fullerton. Her family moved to Fallbrook in 1957, where she graduated from Fallbrook High. She met the love of her life, Cliff Story, and they were married in 1961. They moved to Escondido, where they raised their family. They resided there until they passed away. Bonnie worked for a brief period at SDG&E and Freeway Trailer Sales. For many years she volunteered as a student aide for Conway School. She was involved in many activities, including Jaycee wives and the Las Ramada Camper Club. She enjoyed bowling, camping, casino, coin collecting, throwing great parties and spending time with her close friends. She will be truly missed by all. Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford Story. She is survived by her son, Craig (Kathy) Story; daughter, Daphne Story; Grandson, Brain Clark; step-granddaughter, Cherie Huitt; step-grandson, Kyle Davis along with many nieces and nephews and her number one companion Scooter. Burial will be Oak Hill Memorial Park, in Escondido, on Friday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. Sign the Guest Book online obits.nctimes.com

Bonnie was my cousin, so I probably knew her longer than anyone alive. We shared many family get-togethers and I always remember her as being very sweet and fun-loving. It is very hard to lose her.
