Dian Chu Obituary

Dian Y. Chu SAN MARCOS -- Dian Y. Chu passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010. She was born June 24, 1940 in China, daughter of Yuan Chih Hsia. Dian received a Masters of Science degree in Chemistry and was a Computer Systems Manager, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed bridge, hiking, yoga, opera, cooking, and travel. She was gentle, caring, sharing, and patient. Dian was married to Andrew C. Chu for 45 years, who survives her; also surviving are daughters, Kathryn M Chu and Millie Chu Baird; granddaughters, Ai-Li baird and Anya Baird; and son-in-law, Jeff Baird. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 13, at Rose Hills Cemetery, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, Calif. (562-699-0921). Andy, My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Dian. I always looked forward to her coming to the gym. She was a very warm, friendly and caring person and will be missed by all her knew her. May her soul rest in peace.
