Joan Andrews

Joan Andrews, 89 VISTA -- Joan Andrews died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Tri City Medical Center from a stroke. She was born in Colorado and raised in Minnesota. Joan moved to Southern California in the 1940s where she married and raised her only daughter. She worked as a secretary most of her life. Her last job was at Lawry's The Prime Rib. She retired at age 60 and moved to Vista to enjoy her senior years with family. Joan is survived by her daughter and son-in- law, Janette and Michael McMillen; granddaughter, Christina Adame and her husband, Edward Adame; great-granddaughters, Sidney and Samantha Adame; grandson, Scott McMillen and his wife, Marianne McMillen; great-grandsons, Mason and Royce McMillen; and her half sister, Janice Huckins. She also has some other nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 with a service at 11 a.m. at Allen Brothers Mortuary, 1315 S. Santa Fe Ave., Vista. Interment will follow at the San Marcos Cemetery.
