I am shocked and saddened by the news about Cary. Although I knew him in Escondido when he was a young boy, he became a friend when
we both lived in Phoenix. His family and mine had many wonderful
visits during that time and leave great memories. My deepest condolences to the family. My heart is so hurt.

I have so many memories of playing at Uncle Richard and Shirley's house with Barry, Holly, John, Jannel and you Cary. You had such a great loving spirit and I will never forget the laughter and fun times we all shared. RIP sweet cousin. <3 Deborah Hardy

It is a comfort to me to know that the lore and legends, the unimaginable travails and exploits of our son Cary will long be retold and remembered. Of the many memories we hold dear are special ones of the early years at Rees Rd., riding dirt bikes in the (then open) fields, playing with the dogs, Brutus, and later, Smiley and Mutley, seeing the boys and their baby sister Holly posing for pictures in the sunshine in their Sunday finery; Cary's absolute fearlessness at everything he undertook, a trait that would make its mark (sometimes literally) for the whole of his life. And what a life it was. He concentrated more living into a few of his years than a lot of people ever know in all of theirs, and knowing this is a measure of consolation to those of us left behind. What raucous reunions there must surely be on the other side, with all of Cary's fellows of the fast and hard lifestyle, and yes, some more subdued ones with his Grandparents and many others. Being separated by miles in his last few years has not made this new separation easier - on the contrary.
It has filled us with even more nostalgia and regret that we were not taking advantage of more opportunities to travel to California.
"So what if we have to part - we'll be together again" the song says, and it is with faith that this is true that we are able to endure.

Cary, it makes me sad to see so little in your guess book. But as Alan said, most of the people you knew didn't have phones, let alone a computer. Well I'm here to let you know that many people have asked about you and you are in their thoughts and prays.

Cary I will miss you always, hopefully you are with my daughter Jennifer. Please watch over her. I will never forget the times we had together like with the chair at Harry's, or the day you went down the hill in a shopping cart (I have pics to prove it lol ) Although all of our time together was not great, my memories of you are. When I think of you if brings a smile to my face. I will love you forever Janet Favreau

Rest in peace big brother. I will never forget any time spent with you since it was always an adventure. I'm sad that you have had your last journey so young. I hope since you really lived, that you felt like your life was good and full. I know you had your regrets. Dad said it best when he wrote your obituary. I love you Cary. Your little sister, Holly Joy.
