Richard Juel Moe

Richard Juel MOE Born August 24, 1962 in Tacoma and passed away on April 4, 2007 in San Diego, surrounded by his loved ones. He grew up in the Seattle area and lived most of his adult life in California, for the past 22 years in San Diego. He was a loving family member and a caring friend. Rick had a passionate interest in nature with a deep love for the outdoors and all living creatures. He was preceded in death by his father, Erling Moe. Surviving family members include his mother, Aase Moe of Seattle, sisters, Mette Line Myhre (Thyge) of Tjome, Norway and Elisabeth Fredrickson (Mark) of Seattle, brother, John Moe (Jill) of Seattle, and nieces and nephews, Alexander, Nikolai, Kristoffer, and Matias Myhre, Benjamin, Abigail, and Luke Fredrickson, and Charlie and Kate Moe. In San Diego, he is survived by Kyndra McKinney, her children, Jessica and Jacob, and a daughter to be born to Kyndra and Rick, as well as countless warm and loving friends. A fund for his daughter is being established at Boeing Employees Credit Union. A Celebration of Rick's Life will take place in San Diego on April 21st at the Kearney Mesa VFW Hall at 1:30 p.m. and there will be a Memorial Service in Seattle on April 23rd at University Congregational United Church of Christ at 7:00 p.m. We will all miss you, Rick.
