Uncle Dave was truly was of the smartest people I have ever known. So smart that when I was little, I was never sure I knew exactly what he was saying --- he was so
over-my-head. As I got older, I learned to understand his "language"...even if it wasnt all in the dictionary!!! Uncle Dave got me through some rough spots in school.
Through his tutoring, I was able to score the highest grade on the New York State Geometry Regents exam at Great Neck North High School. He was an inspiration to the family...he ran, he swam, he joked, he coached, he made us all laugh. I will always remember him fondly even though I went to Michigan State and he went "elswhere." With Love, from "1/4 of his nieces," Alysa

Dear Roz and family,
This corner of theworld will be less enjoyable without Dave. Over 30 years we treasured every meeting and moment with him and you. Dave was a prince and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
