My friend, Victor,
You were a friend to the world, willing to do anything for anyone. You were all heart, generous, kind, and sharing. I never heard you speak an unkind word or word of disparagement about anyone.
You lived your life with an energy, a vibrance and enthusiasm that I have not seen in anyone else.
This vibrance and enthusiasm you used, in helping everyone you knew with THEIR problems, even though you had more than your share of your own problems.
Your, "Don't worry about it, I'll take care of it," attitude, endeared you to everyone.
You spoke with an endearing "Brooklynese accent.
We met when we worked at Harwood Pharmacy as stock boys, though you were much more than a stock boy even then, eagerly assisting in the filling of prescriptions under the supervision of our bosses, Herbert and Isadore Harwood.
Your youthful vigor, enthusiasm and caring for people put you above the ordinary employee.
I can still remember, people asking for their, "stzetla" [receipt].
You will always be loved and remembered for the caring, warm, and all-giving person that you are, because that caring and loving and "all-giving" endures in all of our hearts.
It is not gone.
And now you, my friend are gone. Every person, not just me, is saddened.
Everyone who came in contact with you is saddened.
A friend, a brother, a son, a lover, a husband was he, unpretentious, and a father to Christopher, who a man like Victor, I know he will grow up to be.
A heart of gold, a twin - fraternal, was he.
Oh, how I miss him, and so will the world.
Victor, my dear friend, I hope in heaven, you will be.
You just didn't have enough time on this earth.
God Bless Your Soul.
