Roy Pelletier Obituary

Roy E. Pelletier Roy E. Pelletier, age 68, died Wednesday at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of Jeannne (Russell) Pel-letier. Mr. Pelletier was born November 18, 1939 in St. Francis, Maine, son of the late Romeo and Rita (Jandereau) Pelletier. A U.S. Army, Vietnam War veteran, he served at Fort Gordon, Ga., Song Hwan, Korea and Fort Lewis, Wash. He had worked for many years at J.P. Stevens Co. and as a machine operator at Kimberly-Clark in New Milford. Roy's interests included music, electronics and reading, but his family was most important to him. In addition to his wife of Bantam, he is survived by a son, James M.Pelletier of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two daughters, Aimee T. Pelletier of Astoria, N.Y. and Michelle B. Pelletier of Vancouver, Wash.; three brothers; seven sisters; a granddaughter, Natalie; and several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Darryl. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church in Bantam. There are no calling hours. The Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd., Lithcield has charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., Walllingford, CT or The American Cancer Society, Wilton, CT or a charity of the donor's choice.

Uncle Roy will be greatly missed but I will always have fond memories of when we stayed with him, Aunt Jeanne and the kids as well as when they would come up to Allagash and stay with us!!!!
