Harold Thurman Bradley Sr., 69, of Waynesboro, died Satu-rday, August 30, 2008, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Born October 26, 1938, in Amherst County, he was a son of the late Henry and Lillie Campbell Bradley. A carpenter by trade, Harold was formerly employed with Central Virgi-nia Builders for many years before becoming disabled. Mr. Bradley enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all enjoy-ed spending his time watching his grandchildren play base-ball and being around his fami-ly, along with his loving dog, Lucy. Harold was always will-ing to give advice and lend a helping hand whenever it was needed or requested of him.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his daughter, Telisa; broth-ers, Edgar Bradley and Elbert Ramsey; and two sisters, Rach-el Wyant and Thelma Ramsey.

He is survived by one daught-er, Cheryl Perry and her husb-and, Nathan, of Crimora; three sons, Harold Bradley Jr. and his wife, Wilma, of Crimora, David Bradley and his wife, Amy, of Grottoes, Darrell Brad-ley, his companion, Laura Tait, and her two children, Eric and Haley Squier, of Staunton; two brothers, Roy Bradley, of Way-nesboro, and Kenny Bradley and his wife, Gilda, of Wayne-sboro; six grandchildren, Harold III, Travis, Josh, Joel, and Jamie Bradley, and Nathan Perry Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at River-view Cemetery, Rosser Ave-nue and Thirteenth Stree in Waynesboro, with the Rever-end Sam Sponaugle officia-ting. Acting as active pallbear-ers will be Kenny Bradley Jr., Sam Holloway, Johnny and Kenny Crawford, Bobby Carpenter and Mike Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 West Main Street, Waynesboro, as well as vari-ous times at the residence of Harold Jr., and Wilma Bradley, 56 Rockwall Lane, Crimora.
