DeTRINIS - Vincent Joseph of N. Massapequa, L.I. on May 29, 2008. Beloved husband of Joan Detrinis. Loving father of Joanne, Robert, Vincent, Rita, Bernadette, MaryEllen, Dorothea and the late Thomas. Dear grandfather of 28 and predeceased by one grandson. Dear great grandfather of two with two on the way. Loved brother of Randall. Vincent attended St. Anselm's Elementary School and St. Michaels High School in Brooklyn, NY. Attended Fordham University School of Business. Achieved his Masters in Music and Education from C.W. Post and Hofstra University. Air Force Veteran. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1 Mile North of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). Wake Service Sunday, 8:00pm at the funeral home. Religious Service at Praise Tabernacle, N. Massapequa, L.I., Monday 10:00am. Interment, Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I. Visiting Sunday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm.

My Dear Father,
I love you with all of my heart. You were the BEST DAD!!! I miss you so deeply, but am so grateful for all the wonderful memories we have. I am glad you are not suffering anymore.

I just found out that Grandpa has passed on. Just want to say that I'm imagining Grandpa's soul finally at peace...and how incredible it is that so many of us owe our lives to him falling in love so many years ago with Grandma Joan. I love you, Grandpa.
