I am saddened at the loss of Betsy Carter, a wonderful neighbor and friend. Betsy helped me so much when I was expecting my youngest child and when my mother was ill. I will miss knowing that she was across the street and would be there if I needed her. My deepest sympathy to Hank and their children and grandchildren.

Our condolences - sorry about Betsy. Our thoughts are with you. We miss Betsy, she always came over to say hi. We're still in East Hampton but miss the Bay Avenue days. - Marie and Stuart Nassauer

I grew up across the street from the family. Although it's been years, I have fond memories. I remember Mrs. Carter's P&J sandwiches! My condolences to the entire family.
