John P. Tucholski

TUCHOLSKI - John P., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 21. He was a life long resident of Roslyn Heights. Beloved husband of Margery (Ball). Loving father of Linda Hogan Florenzie (Fred) and Jean Limbach (Henry). Treasured grandfather of Lynn, Christine, Christopher, John and Jeremy. Cherished great-grandfather of Jonathan, Lauren, Ryan and Jack. Caring brother to Leon Tucholski, Frances Hussey and the late Joseph, Adam and Thomas. Also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews. John was a Funeral Director for over 60 years and proprietor of the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home for over 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus John W. MacKay Council and Bishop Kellenburg Assembly Fourth Degree Knight. Proud veteran World War II, participating in both the European and African Theatres. He was also a life time member of VFW Post 5253. Life long parishioner of his beloved St. Mary's Church, Roslyn Harbor. John was Roslyn's hometown boy all of his life. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Family will receive friends at the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home Inc, 75 Mineola Ave, Roslyn Hts Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10am St. Mary's R.C. Church Roslyn Harbor. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Mary's Church Roslyn Harbor in John's name would be greatly appreciated.
