KOPITSCH - Margaret E., of East Farmingdale, North Babylon, L.I. and Beverly Hills, Florida on June 23, 2008. Beloved wife of the late John P. Kopitsch. Devoted mother of Margaret Safronsey, Anna Winslow, Laraine Alvarado, Jacqueline Wilson and Sandra Kreutzer. Loving mother-in-law of Bruce, John, Paul and Bud. Cherished grandma of John, Christine, David, Richard, Elizabeth, Cheryl, Paul, Jessica, Christopher, Andrew and Michelle. Proud great-grandma of 15. Margaret was a life time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the East Farmingdale Fire Department, also serving New York State Fireman's Association as a Parade Official. While living in Florida she was a member of the Beverly Hills Surveillance Unit and an active member of Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy., (1/4 mile West of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, West Islip, L.I. Saturday 9:00am. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Margaret's memory to Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation, 5 Channel Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050. Visiting Friday 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:30pm.
