STEIN - Marilyn, of Centereach, on July 4, 2008. Beloved wife of Philip. Cherished mother of Kimberly Koeppel and Sharon Stein. Devoted daughter of Christopher A. Hopmann. Loving Sister of Christopher R. Hopmann. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach. Mass Wednesday 9:45am at Assumption BVM RC Church. Cremation Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Marilyn to the American Cancer Society, appreciated.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stein family. Mrs. Stein, was a wonderful, caring, loving person. I was very priveledge and honored to have her as my Math teacher for 3 years at Holy Angels Regional School. She will be sorely missed. She truly is a Holy Angel watching over all of us! I met Marilyn on the first day of High School and she quickly became my best friend. We grew up together, traveled, laughed and cried and shared many happy events. She oftened commented to me that the greatest joy in her life was her daughters, she was so proud of them. Marilyn was part of my family and I will miss her so.
