To the Dauscher Family...
As a former student, I cannot begin to tell you how Mrs Dauscher influenced my life... I think of her often as I help my children with their elementary lessons, especially times tables... your Mom/Grandmother was the first teacher that allowed us to write in PEN! How grown up she made us feel!
Thank you for sharing her with us...
May your memories comfort you at this time...
Fondly,

Tina Ryan

Dear Bill and Family: Please accept the love, sympathy and prayers of Muriel's California cousins. My visit to New York in 1960, dinner at Aunt Nora's home and Patty's visit, to San Francisco, with Nora are remembered fondly. Phil Leonard has been very considerate to keep me in the family loop.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Dauscher was my teacher for 4th grade at St. Joseph's, in 1982. She was one of my favorites and I often thought about her over the past 25 years. I'll never forget learning about the explorers and memorizing my times tables. She was a wonderful woman and a great teacher.

It was an honor to know and be a part of your mother's life. Her generous spirit and kind soul will live on through the lives of all that had the pleasure to know her. We are thinking about you now and always and may you find peace in knowing that she will always be with you. We love you.

So sorry for your loss. I'm sure you know how many lives your Mom/Grandmother touched, but I wanted to add my name to the list. I have only wonderful memories of being in her 3rd grade class in 1975. I always think of her when my times tables come to me so easily, I am spelling out Wed(nes)day or know that the states on the west coast spell out COW. It's amazing how the little things stick with us. Even when I visited her classroom in later years she was always there with a warm welcome. I remember needing to chat with a group of kids for a college project I was working on, and Mrs. Dauscher let me interrupt her class to get responses from her students. She was the best and the world is just a little sadder without her. She will be missed!
