BRANDOW - Chester L. (Chet), age 72, of Fort Pierce, Florida formerly of Brentwood on July 14, 2008. Loving husband of Carolyn Anne. Beloved father of Barbara, Sandra, Keith, Brian and the late James. Cherished grandfather of Justin, Desiree, Michael, Leeann, Shannon, Evan, Claire, and Sean and great-grandfather of Lilly. Retired from Suffolk County Water Authority after 32 years of service. Proud Navy veteran of 20 years. Reposing at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes Inc., 571 Suffolk Ave., Brentwood, where religious services will be held Friday evening. Cremation private. Family will receive friends to celebrate Chet's life Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9:30pm. www.grantfh.com
