Cherished granddaughter of Grace and Harry Spooner, and Helen and the late John Gerardi. Loving niece of Jennie and cousin of Leah. Reposing Moloney's Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Ave., Lake Ronkonkoma, NY where a Religious Service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass Saturday 10am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, Ronkonkoma. Interment following Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. www.moloneyfh.com

I did'nt know you that well but from what i got to know you were such a nice and beautyful person . i cant even believe that ur gone. Its really sad that you had to leave so early in life , but all that matters is that we make the best of life while we are alive.I definitly think you did . I wish i got to spend more time with you . We didn't really talk much, but you were in my art class. I'm terribly sorry for your family. You seemed like such an interesting person, and I'm sorry I never took effort to get know you. Denise...I can't believe this really happened. It kills me that we lost touch. I remember you were in like 9th grade when I met you, we were babies back then. I wish we could go back to the good ole days. I miss you so much... Denise, Even though i knew you for a short time i'm glad we met. Art with you and eddie was never a dull moment. You always had wisdom to share with us about life and love and things i will keep with me forever. It is such a shame that a wonderful, funny, full of life person was taken at such a young age. This is so unreal. You are one the greatest people I have ever met. I will never forget all of the awesome times we've had. Lynwood, KK, Kmart, The Deli, I can go on forever. I'm so sorry for your loss. My son Joseph was a friend of Denise's. I didn't know her, but when my son told me what happened I became so upset that a beautiful young life was taken so suddenly. I will hold Denise's parents in my prayers. God bless you all.
