LYNCH - Dorothy A. (nee Bertrand), a 50 year resident of Rockville Centre, on July 20, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife for 66 years of John T. Cherished mother of John T. (Maureen) of East Williston, Charles B. of Manhattan, Michael J. (Mary Pat) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Dorothy L. of Rockville Centre, Claire M. of Carle Place and Rosemary C. Selby (Ronald, M.D.) of East Brunswick, NJ. Devoted grandmother of Tom (Meri), Jim, Sean (Natalie), Christy (Trey), Caroline and David, and great-grandmother of Regina, Andrew, Katie and Anne Marie. Dear sister of Catharine Lynskey, Eleanor Martin and Charles Bertrand, M.D. A former St. Agnes Rosary Altar Society president and member of the RVC Mercy League, Nassau Woman's Club, Fortnightly and St. Saviour HS Alumnae. A Mercy Medical Center volunteer for more than 40 years. Reposing at Macken Mortuary (mackenmortuary.com) with visiting on Thursday, July 24, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Agnes Cathedral on Friday, July 25, at 10am. Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens. In lieu of flowers donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 4747-20 Nesconset Hwy, Pt. Jefferson Station, NY 11776.
