Lisa was an incredible neighbor and on a cold snowy Feb.day i could remember her warm smile. She was a medical expertise realizing i had trigeminal nerve damage from a nearby dental school .I miss the walks as she was like an older sister.

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Mahoney's passing. Although I was only a patient of hers for a short time, she quickly became my favorite doctor. She was so personable - a quality that many doctors these days lack. When I told her of my pregnancy, her excitement rivaled that of my own mother. She will be remembered fondly.

I was a patient of Dr. Mahoney for many years. She was an outstanding example of professionalism, profound empathy & sincere humor. I never once, even after becoming a double mastectomy, felt self conscious. She will be missed by the medical, as well as, patient communities she served so well. My deepest sympathy to her family.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Lisa Mahoney's family. I was a patient a long time ago, and found her to be friendly, professional and very thorough. I was disapointed that my health insurance did not cover her services, and could not continue as her patient. I still have not found another Dr. as good as she was. I was shocked to read of her passing in the local L.I. newspaper. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones.
