Fifteen years ago we lost a man who was not only our Dad , he was the light that we all followed as a source of love ,respect and strength. My only source of comfort is that you are with your bride and I know that you are both looking out for all of us especially your grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daddy not a day goes by that I dont think of you and feel your strength and example of how to live the best life I can. Rest Easy my sweet Daddy

Its been over a year now.. this is a poem in memory of my Dad.. I think of him everyday and miss him with eery passing day.. There are so many memories of you in every aspect of my life.. I love you Dad
In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Its been three weeks now.. and everything has settled back to "normal" but truthfully Dad there will not be a "normal" for all of us without you here.. There isnt a day that I dont think of you or wonder what you would be doing.. saying that I miss you doesnt even do how I feel without you here, justice..

God bless you Uncle Sylvio, to a man whose legacy is his children and how each and everyday they continue to live the lessons of life of which he taught each of them. A great man, a wonderful husband & father and the brother to my father Joesph that he never had. Thank you Uncle Sylvio for taking good car of my parents when they began their life together and family.

Losing our dad was not only losing a parent but our constant source of strength, his positive outlook on life and his ability to never give up is what we all looked up to when things in our own lives were not going our own way. My dad had a lot of adversity --he was a fighter to the end, and i know that he is in heaven with my brother Joey and is waiting for all of us..
