Dear Granpa,
You would have been so happy to see your whole family honoring you.We all talked about how wonderful your 100th birthday was. We talked of what a man of hardwork and love and integrity you were. We spoke of your love story with grandma. All 3 of your children have been married over 50 years. We spoke how WE wanted to live up to your expectations and love our spouses and children unconditionally. You set the standards and we hope we live up to them.I want you to be proud of the most amazing children you raised. You would be proud of your great grand children as well. If you could have given the best name to live up to your legacy it was to My dad. Thank you for how you started this family with 3 kids 8 grand kids and 20 great grandkids. Its amazing. We all loved you and are all proud of the life you created for us. I love you. Heather

Dear Grandpa,

You have touched my heart and the hearts of your grandchildren and great grandchildren in a way you can be proud. This a sad day for all of your family and friends, but yet, for those who knew you, a happy day too. That is because we all rejoice and celebrate with you your long awaited reunion with your most precious love, Mildred.

We will miss you, but your love and teachings will be forever in our hearts.
