Francine Lamberti Obituary

LAMBERTI - Francine, 77, of Huntington, on August 18, 2008. Retired, after 30 years, from the Elwood School District. Cherished mother of Jedd (Karen) Palmer, Todd Palmer, Kari (Rick) Pavlovsky. Loving grandmother of Hilary, Hannah and Michael Palmer, Katie and Allie Buss, and Sharayah Quinn. Memorial service Friday 7pm at Lighthouse Bridge Christian Fellowship 301 West Hoffman Ave. Lindenhurst. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of the M.A. Connell Funeral Home, Huntington Station.

I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Lamberti for 2 years at Cuba Hill. She is one of the most memorable teachers I ever had. How many people proudly display thier love of orange so boldly! My best friend and I still laugh over many things that happened those years. The end of year pool party was a blast. She was a larger than life person who I remember fondly every time I think of my elementary school years.

I remember going over to the Lamberti's with my Mom and Dad for a Union Carpenters event and playing with Kari downstairs in their kids "kitchen" pay set. It was almost as fun as playing in that amazing back yard with that great pool.

Boy, did we all have a lot of fun. And Laughs!

My prayers for all the Lamberti children and grandchildren are that they trust in the Lord to heal their hearts and be grateful for dear Francine. She was a fun lady. Hopefully she found comfort in knowing Jesus as her Savior.

And I am truly sorry that Kari and I both lost touch with each other over the years. God Bless you all. Yours In Christ, M. Bibow

Mrs Lamberti was a great teacher. I'll never forget the end of year party at her house more than 40 years ago. That's the one year I remember really enjoying school.
