Abbey Miller Obituary

MILLER - Abbey C., 83, of Beacon, NY formerly of Manchester, NJ, died Friday August 29th in Fishkill, NY. Born in New Castle, NY she lived in the Bronx, and then Manchester Twp for 23 years before moving to Beacon, NY 1 year ago. She loved to sing and was a member of the St. John's Choir, and wrote poetry. She was predeceased by her husband Oscar J. in 2003. She was a devoted mother to three sons, Kenneth and wife Francine of Boca Raton, Fl, James and wife Ellen of Southampton, NY, and Richard and wife Diane of East Williston, NY, and two daughters, Linda and husband Robert Zellner of Southampton, NY, and Patricia and husband John Nardi of Newburgh, NY, and devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Louis Hauck of Flushing, NY and Thomas Hauck of Manchester. Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester, NJ 08759. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday 9:30am at St John's Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
