Although it has been over 18 years since the birth of Alexandra, I will forever remember the vivacious, sweet, kind, and just all around wonderful woman that travelled from NY to meet her first great grandchild. Although I was a young mother, I clearly recall being honored that one would travel such a distance in her late 70's to see us. Of course, her visits continued for years and years and years, always amazing all of us how full of life she was. It has been years and years for me personally, since I have seen you. But I feel totally blessed for my daughter, to have had known and loved her great grandmother for so many years of her life. That is rare, and most are not so fortunate. Rest in peace "Grandma Giglio"!! You leave behind an amazing legacy. Until we meet again.....
