Frank Moore Obituary

MOORE - Frank, of Massapequa Park, NY, on August 19, 2008, with wife Sallie and daughters Lisa and Jennifer at his side. Devoted to his family, he was an idealist and realist who loved learning and inspired others through his humor, beliefs and actions. Also survived by his sisters Lula Cobb (Zadock), Geraldine Harris (Willie), Merle, Clara, and brothers Earl (Margaret) and Kenneth (Lynda) of NC, as well as by many nieces and nephews. A teacher and administrator in the Oceanside Public Schools, he was active in Rotary and served in the US Army in Korea. Private graveside services were held on August 24th. Donations may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714.
