RAU - Barbara Ann, on September 2, 2008. Retired switchboard operator at N.Y. Hospital Medical Center of Queens. Beloved sister of Lynn Bitel and Roberta Rau. Dear sister-in-law of Karl Bitel. Proud aunt of Bill and (Anita), Nicole and (John), Crystal Ann, and loving great-aunt of Alexander Kevin. Reposing at Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home, 149-20 Northern Blvd., Flushing, N.Y. Visiting Friday 2-5 and 7-10. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 9:45am Our Lady of the Snows RC Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.

I am a dear friend of Marsha Tauber's. I have heard of Cookie's long illness and struggles through her. I am truly sorry to hear of your loss and her untimely passing, but know she is now at peace. May God bless you all.
