Charles Weiler Obituary

WEILER - Charles G., of Hempstead, on September 10, 2008. Longtime member of VFW Post # 783 and Hempstead Post 390 American Legion. Beloved husband of Gisela. Loving father of Kenneth (Sally), Wayne, Suzanne (Paul) Bruno, Daniel (Donna) and Monique (Randy) Richardson. Also survived by five grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hartnett Funeral Home, 561 Jerusalem Avenue, Uniondale. Visiting hours 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday only. Mass of Christian Burial 9:45am Saturday at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, North Merrick. Interment following at Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale.

Charles (C.G.) Weiler was one of the kindest, most generous men I ever knew. He was a friend to the friendless, a brother to the brotherless, a father to the fatherless.
It was a priveldge to be welcomed into his family as his daughter-in-law 28 years ago.
May he rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.
