So many years have passed since we have spoken or seen one another yet you all have always been in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could say something to help make this easier for you, but only time can offer you that. Please find comfort in knowing that finally, Georgiana is at peace and free from pain.
With thoughts and prayers for all of you,

I wish that I could remove from your lives the great pain you must feel at the loss of you Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.
But that is not to be, I can only offer you the knowledge that she will live on in your memories forever and that the pain of these days will ebb and become more bearable as time goes by and the today’s hurt is replaced gently by memories of better days.
I grew up with Georgiana; we attended the same one room school, Dover Elementary school, and Dover High School, rode the same school bus, were often in the same classes because our last names were close, knew the same people, graduated together in 1963. you could say that for awhile we walked the same paths in our lives.
I understand how terrible it is to watch someone you love be destroyed by cancer, and while I share your sadness at her passing, I cannot help but reflect back to that lovely little girl at Rohlers one room school or the beautiful woman who left for the Air Force in 1964. I remember her even now as the lovely young woman I graduated with, bright, full of life and the future.
All of you are the fulfillment of that future, I wish you well. It is my hope that as you reflect on her life you will remember the good times.
With deep sympathy.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
