To Jennifer...you are always with us,
"Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain...
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die."

Dear Jenn,
Yesterday was a year that you were gone. I can't tell you how many times in the last year that I've gone to dial your number or see something with Pooh-Bear on it that I knew you'd love. I miss you with all my heart but I've noticed a few things. The sun is shining brighter, the stars are sparkling more, the flowers are blooming more, and the music sounds sweeter all because our angel Jennifer Ann is watching over all of us with her joy and laughter and sending us all these special gifts so we know that she's with us all the time.
I love you Jenn.

To Jen and Tom's Families,
I am an old high school friend of Tom's. I have not been in touch with him for many years. When I heard of his wife Jen's passing from another high school friend (Jeff Swartz) who happened across the Newsday article and Obituary on the internet, we were deeply saddened. On this anniversary, Jeff and I would again like to express our deepest condolences for your lose, and hope both Families well in the future.
Jeff and I had been trying to track Tommy down when we heard the sad news. We have no idea how to get in touch with him. All we know is that he was still living on Long Island. We assume he still is with his daughter. If at all possible, can my phone # and e-mail be forwarded to him? Thank you very much and GOD BLESS all of you.

To Jennifer's Family,
May you take comfort in the beautiful tributes written here...Jennifer was one of a kind in all aspects of her life, both personal and professional. What a great testament to her life to have one of her students say that she taught them happiness. To think of all the hearts she touched is the best legacy of all. It was truly an honor to know her.
Happy Easter in heaven, Jennifer.

Mrs. Mager, you were such a wonderful teacher. It's truly not going to be the same without you. And we miss you very much. You taught us happiness, caring, and other fun things in which I can't think of at the moment, LOL! But anyway, you were a great teacher, and we miss you deeply.

This poem I wrote shortly after she past on...
HER SMILE LIVES ON
You were an angel
You were loved by many kinds
Your Legacy lives on, you will always be our minds
You loved to teach
You loved each child you taught
And now that you’re gone, Were all distraught
There’s something about you
That everybody knew
It was worthwhile, it was your smile
There’s something about you
That everybody knew
It was worthwhile, it was your smile
You Were, Happy, Glad, … it was shown in your smile
Your voice was like angle singing… we loved your style
But even thou our angle is gone…
Her smile lives on

We have a son with learning disabilities and I remember when he was in second grade he had Miss Ogden. It was probably at the beginning of her teaching career because he is 15 now. I remember Miss Ogden because she was so kind and caring toward our son and she truly accepted him for who he is without judging him. Brian still remembers her today! We will always remember her kindness and warm smile!

Each of us who loved Jennifer are connected through her spirit. Our shared goal should be to fill the people around us with the same love and laughter that Jennifer filled our lives with. I was not extremely close to her, but whenever I saw her, there was a unique light of joy that pervaded her essence. Let us all keep that light alive in our communities so that her daughter Delaney will grow up in a kind, happy, and peaceful world!
God bless Jennifer...Now she is our angel!

I have only known Jen for 5 years and I feel honored and very fortunate to have had her enter into my life thanks to her best friend and my fiance Carolyn. There is not much more that can be said about Jennifer that has not already been mentioned. She always was and will continue to be a beacon of hope for those who knew her.

Jennifer was my beloved niece who was a huge support to me. She was wonderful with my son who has autism and she was named as his alternate guardian through Surrogate's Court. We shared many special times together and I loved her like a daughter. She was the light of our family and her sense of humor made our family get togethers lively and loud. Every day is blanketed with sadness since her death, but her spirit lives on in her adorable, precocious daughter Delaney whom we love and cherish.

I was always inspired by Jen's zest for life and passion for teaching, as well as that beautiful singing voice!
