KALBACHER - Kenneth F., age 85, of Franklin Square, on October 3, 2008. Devoted husband for 30 years of Elaine (Graf). Loving father of Karen Lipton. Stepfather of Carol Russo, Carl Henke and Gayle Bassi. Dear twin brother of S. Claire Kalbacher, O.P. Loving brother of Loretta Walsh and Cecilia Neidhardt, Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Madeline (Scheer), son, Kenneth Jr. and sister, Evelyn Reilly. Long-time member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2622, St. Therese of the Little Flower, Valley Stream and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Viewing Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 at Krauss Funeral Home, 1097 Hempstead Tpk., Franklin Square. Funeral Mass Monday St. Catherine of Sienna at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale.
