Michael Nicklos Obituary


NICKLOS - Michael, 65, of Maple St. in Hudson Falls. Beloved husband of Teri "Silky" Nicklos, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Born on March 17, 1943 in Reading, PA., he was the son of the late Paul and Wanda (Klososwski) Nicklos. Mike worked for 35 years as an electronic technician for Trans World Airlines. For 25 of those years, he was a flight simulator technician at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City. On June 29, 2002, he married Teri "Silky" Silken on Long Island. Upon moving to Hudson Falls, he co-owned and operated Sandy Hill Computers in Hudson Falls. Mike was a friend of Bill's for 26 years. He was a man of incredible courage, perseverance, integrity and humility. Mike's family suggests that memorial donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 959 State Rte 9, Mount Royal Plaza, Queensbury, NY 12804 or the Charles R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, 100 Park St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. Online condolences to Mike's family may be made by visiting our website at www.carletonfuneralhome.com.

Dear Silky,
Please accept our deep and sincere condolences for the passing of Mike.
I worked as an aircraft mechanic and I would occassionally stop into the "radio" shop at TWA and shoot the breeze with Mike and the other people in the shop. May he rest in peace.
