deLYRA - Barbara, on October 6, 2008. Beloved mother of Jennifer Palma. Loving daughter of the late James and Mary Delaney. Cherished sister of Margaret Tintle, Dolores Smith, Joseph Delaney, John Delaney, Anne Kiernan and the late Roseann Altman, James T. Delaney, Thomas Delaney, Dominic Delaney, Mary Rini and Virginia Delaney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Weigand Bros Funeral Home Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 10am at St. Aidan's Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

To all,

Barbara and I were great high school friends and had many memeries of Saint Dominic's in Oyster Bay. This year will be our 50th class reunion and we will miss her deerly.

My sincerest sympathy to the family on your loss. Barbara and I were childhood friends and lost touch later in life. However, I did think of her often, we definitely shared some wonderful moments together.
