Although only 85 lbs., you were the strongest person I know. By your living example, you taught me leadership, humility, generosity and mercy. Aunt Nancy, I'm going to miss you so much, but in my mind's eye I see how happy you are at the "Hearne/Meredith" family reunion with your parents, your 8 handsome brothers and your dear sisters, Bess and Alice; and that gives me peace and joy. Until we meet again, I love you with all my heart, my dear Aunt.

Dear Aunt Nancy,
These are the things I will always remember about you: your laugh and great sense of humor even when you were sick, you're my dad's older sister, the stories about the family you would tell, that whenever there was traffic you prayed it away, you remember the little things, that you like mince meat pie at Thanksgiving, the beautiful afghans you made, that I could send you my prayer intentions and they were always answered, your interest in my stories, your pride in your family, your love and caring, your kindness and so many more things too numerous to name. I am honored to have been present at the moment you left us and I know you are with God and our family in heaven. Love always your niece,

Dear Sister Leonore,
For the past 50 years I enjoyed your friendship. You always kept in touch, and found me, wherever I was at. My only regret is not being able to talk you into using eMail!!
You are now in God’s hands, and will always remain in my heart and mind…
Much love (I will miss you!)
