Heartfelt condolences to the entire Nicosia family. I grew up on Beech street with Bobby and Ricky and through elementary school, spent more time in the Nicosia home than in my own. Bob was a true gentleman and a loyal friend. He will be missed and always remembered.

Although I didn't know Bob in high school, we introduced ourselves at the Wantagh reunion a few years back. He was so personable, warm and enthusiastic as he told me about his family and his life. i don't always remember people I have met, but something about Bob stayed with me. Even a stranger like me could see that he was a special person. My family and I send you our very heartfelt condolences.

Dear Louise, my prayers go out to you and your family. I worked with Bobby in the NYPD and shared alot of good times in the Wantagh Fire Department. Everyone will miss Bobby, he was a kind and loving man. May he rest in peace.

Louise and Children,
I grew playing baseball with Bob over at Sunrise Park school and we went all through school together and then joined the the Wantagh Fire Department. Dear Louise and children,
News of Bob's passing reached us last night. We are saddended by his loss, but rejoice in his life. Bob was a good friend. He visited me often in the dispatchers office and talked about the "job", guns, food-always food. Above all else was his love for you and the children. Everyone knows how proud he was of Joe. We wish we could be with you now. You are in our prayers.

Though we didn't know Bob for long, We will always remember how wonderful he was to Travis and friend to Vida Lee and Rob. When I would be taking care of Travis, as a toddler, any time a fire engine would go by, he would always say "Bobby's on a call".
