Some fond memories at the Shortell house. What a funny lady and pleasure to know! May the love of family and friends comfort and strengthen you at this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was filled with sadness when my children (Mark Brady, Jim Brady, and Allison Streeter) told me of their grandmother's passing. She was a wonderful, warm and caring person and I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to know her. She always had room in her heart for everyone and her quiet and gracious guidance helped her to raise nine amazing children. It is to all of you that I extend my deepest sympathies.

May God bless you all in your time of sorrow. I met your mom when we were roomates at hospital in February. She was a very strong and funny lady. Hold on to all your happy memories. I am sure she will be keeping an eye on all of you.

Growing up in Sea Cliff was indeed a blessing...especially with all that Mr. and Mrs. Brady did for so many children. Though a wonderful mother to her own family, Mrs. Brady always had time for the boys' (and later the girls') friends.
My sincere condolences her family.
