Richard Markiewicz Obituary

MARKIEWICZ - Richard, RA, A.I.A peacefully on October 17, 2008. Beloved and much loved husband of Esther. Loving father of Michael, Maureen and Margaret. Treasured grandfather of Kristi, Karina and Andrew. Richard will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Viewing will be held at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, 1570 Northern Blvd., Manhasset, Sunday 3-5 and 7-9. Funeral Mass St. Mary's R.C. Church, 1300 Northern Blvd., Manhasset, Monday 10am. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Brave Hearts of St. Francis Hospital, 100 Port Washington Blvd., Roslyn, NY 11576. 516-562-6785

Dad, I can't begin to express my love for you. All the times we've shared and things you've taught me are now wonderful/happy memories which I will continue to share, especially with my children. As I see our house, the house you designed, being built one nail at a time - I have pride and joy knowing it's your last magnificant architectual masterpiece! You will be watching over from above and although you maynot be here physically, I know you will always be in my heart!
