Elizabeth Coschignano Obituary

COSCHIGNANO - Elizabeth J., of Oyster Bay, NY. Suddenly on October 15, 2008. Beloved wife of 38 years to John. Loving mother of John (Kim), Steven, Mary, and Michael. Cherished grandmother of Rosalie, Julia, and Peter. Daughter of the late Frank and Jean. Sister of Robert and the late Patricia. Her three loves were her family, the Yankees, and Las Vegas. Elizabeth was an avid Yankee fan, whose devotion was evident to all. She was a best friend to her husband and children, and she loved playing in the casinos. She would love going to Las Vegas many times each year to play in slot machine tournaments, and when not there, she would go to Racino in Saratoga, N.Y. Her dry wit and candor made her who she was to everyone that she loved. Visiting at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. 293 South Street Oyster Bay Monday 7-9pm, Tuesday 2-4, 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday 9:30 St. Dominic's R.C. Church. Interment to follow St. Patrick's R.C. Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of OBEN 1 Pine Hollow Road, Oyster Bay, N.Y. 11771 or Doubleday Babcock Senior Center 45 E. Main Street, Oyster Bay, N.Y. 11771.
