He graduated from East Islip High School and then Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio. After serving four years in the U.S. Navy, Frank immediately joined the family jewelry business, marking the fourth generation of Ferrara's to do so. My Condolences to All:

We are all terribly sorry for a loss that has come much too soon. I will always remember Cousin Frank as someone who enjoyed all of life's blessings each and every day. One can only hope to achieve such a love of life and willingness to venture out there and live life to the fullest, no matter where that leads. Frank was not fearful to explore the great challenges we all face and go in a new direction in order to attain what everyone desires, true fulfillment and happiness. I don't know many people who have so greatly succeeded at this. Such a balance is indeed difficult to come by. He will be truly missed and his place in Heaven will shine.

ANA MARIA,

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. FRANK WAS A GREAT NEIGHBOR AND WILL BE SADLY MISSED. I ESPECIALLY REMEMBER HIM SPENDING PRECIOUS TIME WITH HIS GRANDAUGHTER SYDNEY. UNFORTUNATELY THAT TIME WAS CUT TOO SHORT AND SHE LOST HER "BEST BUDDY".

CONDOLENCES TO ALL THE FAMILY

To The Ferrara family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Frank was a great man, I first met him in 1977 when I sold him a Kirby vacuum for the store, then after many years he purchased more vacuums from me and we purchased a few Rolex watches from him. Even after the store closed he kept recommending me to his friends at the car stereo store. He will truly be missed by everyone.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My parents purchased many beautiful and sentimental pieces of jewelery from Frank when you had your Bay Shore store. I remember when I was a teenager and had to "fess up" that I had broken a very expensive ring my parents bought me for my 16th birthday and Frank was so kind to replace the stone, work out a way to pay for it, and keep my confidence. You just cant find people like that anymore. I never forgot. No small act of kindness goes unnoticed. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
