Thomas McElraevy Obituary

McELRAEVY - Thomas E., former resident of Massapequa. Long-time member of the Barbershop Harmony society, and former director of its Nassau Mid-Island chapter for over 40 years. Participated in several award-winning quartets and was widely known and respected for his heartfelt passion for and tireless dedication to his hobby. Devoted husband of over 55 years to the late Marilyn P. (nee Pace) McElraevy. Beloved father and father-in-law of Carol and Steven Pollichino of Seaford and son Bob McElraevy currently residing in Atlanta, GA. Loving grandfather of Andrew, Amanda and Michael. Also survived by his sister, Betty Jodry of San Antonio, TX. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1 Mile North of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). Funeral service Friday 8:00pm. Cremation private. Visiting Thursday and Friday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm.
