I can´t believe it´s been 16 years...so much time has passed and I still think of you all the time. Especially when I realize I have lost the one and only person I had to talk to and actually listened. Going through this life as an adult without you to call or see is the hardest thing I´ve ever done. I miss you more than words could ever say. I´d give anything to talk to you just once, to ask your advice and hear those words you always said to me... "I´m proud of you" it´s so hard so go through life without that one person who believed in you and was always proud of you. But you taught me how to be strong and rise above it all. It´s what I think of all the time. Whenever I lose faith, I think of your words telling me how proud you are of me and suddenly, I believe in myself again. I live my life knowing that I will one day be with you again and we will have eternity together. Rest in peace dearest Dad

Uncle, I am so glad I saw you at that "Block party" back in August. I didn't think it would be the last time we'd see eachother but I am glad that I did see you on that occasion. As I reflect back on my childhood you were certainly a big part of it as well as my siblings. I remember the time I had a bicycle accident and you were there to take me to the hospital for stitches. You seemed like a proud uncle as you told everyone how brave your nephew was; or the time you carved a sword out of balsa wood for me, making it look like a real sword; or everytime you came through our front door with buns or to do work on our house, you always made us smile. Tonight at your wake, my teary eyed sister said, "I looked forward to him coming to our house when I was little". I am proud to say I was blessed to have an Uncle like Vincent Angelo. Uncle, I love you very much and you will be missed. You will now be reunited with your parents, wife and brother.
God Bless you,
your nephew Steven
