Tom Chasteen, Jerry's nephew, and Robert J. Chasteen (89 y), Jerry's brother, thank everyone for their kind words. We will also miss Jerry.
When he told me that they called him red when he was young I fell in love with the man after whom I'm middle named.

Mr. Chasteen was always kind to the neighborhood kids and showed interest and made us feel special whenever we met. He served his country as part of the “Greatest Generation” and will be missed. God Bless Mr. Chasteen.
