Sol was one-of-a-kind. Not only an excellent accountant, he was a wise counselor and warm friend. My annual face-to-face meeting with him was the reward for wrestling with my tax preparation each year for two decades, and I will so miss his voice on the phone around mid-March: "Diana! I've seen your brother. How are your mother and father doing? When am I going to see you?!" I realize just now, reading the obituaries above, that his beloved wife Muriel passed away only a week after he did. My sincere condolences to his three children, two daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren, whom he dearly loved and of whom he was so proud.
