I wish to express to the family, my greatest sympathy. I had the good fortune of knowing Robert, because I work with his brother Frank at AHRC and visit their home regularly. The memories of him that keep going through my head are first: my visit when we celebrated Frank's Birthday outside on the patio. Robert always assisted his mother in purchasing treats for my visits and on this day they had a very delicious chocolate cake. We all enjoyed it and sang Happy Birthday to Frank. Robert talked fondly of family children visiting them and how much he enjoyed their visits. I flet like part of the family. On another day, Dora complained to me about a little stray kitten that kept coming to their home even though she was not feeding it. She said she couldn't keep the kitten because they already had a stray cat that they were caring for. When I was leaving the little kitten was at the front door and it rubbed on my leg. I almost cried because it made me want to take it home, but I couldn't, we already had a cat and a dog. So I told her I would see if I could find it a home. I went back to the office and aksed people and called shelters. There was one person I was told to ask but she wouldn't be in for a couple of days. The next day I called Dora, and was leaving a message about not having found a home yet for the kitten but I had one more person to ask and then Robert picked up the phone and said "it has a home". He said not to tell Dora but that he has been feeding it and taking care of it. He said he really liked it and that the kitten would hang around him when working on the car. He spoke very fondly of the kitten. I laughed, smiled, and promised not to tell. God Bless you Robert and the entire Saenz family - hearts of gold.
