So many years later, but so many memories that bring a smile to my face! You were one in a million, Ed! Always in my heart!

Ed, always in my thoughts...always in my heart. This prayer is for you.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there,
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight
On the ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.
My Spirit is still alive...

When we think of a day at WORC
it is never complete without a
visit by or to Ed. Always a bright smile, always a good story and always willing to lend a hand.
He will truly be missed.

Since 1965, Ed was my friend who made me laugh and smile till my cheeks hurt. I am so glad that he got to totally enjoy his last summer at camp - commute free! My sympathies to our enitre WORC community. Ed was a special member of our family that I will deeply miss.

Never without a story to tell, a welcoming smile and a heartfelt "Hi, How have you been?..." Ed was a truly unique individual who will be sorely missed. It would be impossible to reminisce about Oakdale and the many fond memories of W.O.R.C. without thinking of Ed. To his family and close friends, I am so sorry for your loss. God bless.

I will never forget sitting on Eddie's newly built "front stoop" with Bobby Galletta at 3 o'clock in the morning singing Ol Man River. I was 15.
Ed could take the simplest task or event and make it elegant and important. His was relentless in his loyalty...whether in be to the Yankees, WORC, or his friends.
This is a profound loss.
