Like a brilliant diamond, Claire had many facets - determined, hard-working, loving, generous, stubborn, humorous, adventurous, fearless, feisty, unorthodox, smart, bold, good. And like a diamond, she is forever.

Aunt Claire always told you the truth, whether you wanted to hear it or not. She had a wonderful laugh and a great sense of humor. As a child, I spent many summers with her on the Island and she always made me feel welcomed and loved. Although my adult life took me away from her, she was and will always be with me, in my heart and in my memories. I will miss her deeply!

Words at a time like this, don't seem to fill the void created by the loss of a loved one such as Claire, but please know, that while we have not been there in body, our mind and spirit has continued to love the island, as we knew it and the people who we lived with. Claire was a warm, loving, caring, fun human being who was always a pleasure to share lifes' special moments with, both the good and the not so good. We will remember her always as the special lady she was.

My deepest sympathy! I have many fond memories of Claire. May the thought that your friends are thinking of you, help ease your pain.

A great lady. She created a successful business career for herself and benefited her family, friends and community.
