I will continue to pray for all of Patty’s family and friends who will mourn her passing for a long time. I am honored to have had her as a best friend for over 40 years (WOW!) and will miss her terribly. Patty wanted so much to attend our son’s wedding last Saturday, and although she was missed physically, I know she was there in spirit.
There is a great void in the Eliash family now and I want Dan, Lauren and Michael to know that you will always be in my thoughts, although I am so far away. I feel like a true part of your family and will be here if you want to talk, and I’m just a plane ride away.
Nancy, please call anytime! And Betty… it is so hard to bury a child and I know you are very sad today. I love you all!

I would like to share my sorrow for your lost. I never knew Patty personally but feel I did through her precious mother and sister. From what I know Patty is now with our Lord and much better off than we. But I do know her heart's desire as mine is was for her family to join her one day. I pray her children and husband will lean and draw close to the Lord as they continue to live on this earth waiting for the day they will join their mother.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers!!!
“Now, I know that someday I am going to come to what some people will say is the end of this life. They will put me in a box and roll me right down in front of the church, and some people will gather around, and a few people will cry. But I have told them not to do that because I don’t want them to cry. I want them to begin the service with the songs and words I chose, because I am not going to be there, and I am not going to be dead. I will be more alive than I have ever been in my life, and I will be looking down upon you poor people who are still in the land of dying and have not yet joined me in the land of the living. And I will be alive forevermore, in greater health and vitality and joy than ever, ever, I or anyone has known before.”
