Alexander Filosa Obituary

FILOSA - Alexander S., Sr., 54 year resident of West Islip, LI, on October 23, 2007. Beloved husband of 57 years to Edith Filosa. Devoted father of Alexander S., Jr., and his wife Lynn Filosa. Dear brother of Helen Caputo. Cherished "Pop-Pop" of Helen Ann. Alexander was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy). A Funeral Service will be held Friday 10:00AM at St. Peter by the Sea Episcopal Church, Bay Shore, LI. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI. Visiting Thursday 2-4:30 and 7-9:30PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Alexander's name may be made to St. Peter's Food Pantry, 500 South Country Rd, Bay Shore, NY 11706.
