Amazing how things come up that make you think of the happiness in the past. Basketball outside in the nice weather - and the Breezy Point opening and closing parties. What great times!
Steve, you are missed, you are loved.

Dear Seidel Family, I recently heard of Steve's passing, I was honored and grateful to have be accepted into Steve's circle of friends. Steve was a mentor to all of us, educating us in so many different ways. I will never forget all the road trips to Manhattan for site seeing, concerts in central park and of course the parties in the Seidel basement. Steve was a man before his time, He tought each of us honor and integrity. What a privilge to have known you Steve. Watch over us Steve.

To the Seidel family,
I want to tell you how saddened I am by Steve's passing, and how grateful I am for the opportunity to attend his services and visit with him in his final days. Steve was truly one of a kind - intelligent, direct, funny and intense, with a passionately held belief system and an equally powerful wit. What I most appreciated about Steve, and will always treasure, was his soft underbelly that manifested itself in his love of (most) people. He cherished comraderie and truly apprecitated people for their personalities and character, unless of course, he disagreed with you. Then he was a force to be reckoned with.
My friends and I were so priviledged to have Steve in our lives; he gave us so much of himself and whatever he had to offer. I'd be remiss in not thanking all of you for your patience, tolerance and generosity in putting up with us in our younger days. Few are the people who leave an imprint on your life like Steve did. I will always smile and laugh when I think of him. What a story, what a gift, he and all of you gave to all of us.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Seidel, Paula, Joe and Mike and Family,
I am sorry about Steve. I remember when we were all young he loved having parties at your house and he really liked the comeradery of the guys at 203. He used to talk about someday becomming a cop. I am glad he fullfilled his dream. When all the guys wanted to get fast cars,Steve wanted a Daily News truck. He had a quick wit(just ask anyone who went to St. Roberts)and was passionate about the union worker. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

To the family of Steve: I feel honored to have worked with Steve in Transit and become his friend. Even though, I haven't seen him in a long time, I have loving memories of him. He always made me laugh and was so much fun to be with. I am so sorry for your loss. We all lost a good man. My sympathies are with you. Love, Linda Tennenbaum-Dalton.
