Henrietta Weis

WEIS - Henrietta (Stuhmer), of Rockville Centre, N.Y. formerly of East Rockaway, N.Y. and Whiting, N.J. at age 83. She joined her husband of 60 years, John, and their son, Edward, in eternal rest on October 25, 2007. Beloved mother of daughters, Audrey Salvemini (Alfred) and Mary Johnston, mother-in-law of Ginny. Loving grandmother of eight. She was a member of the American Women's Volunteer Services during WWII. Served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for over 20 years and Cub Scout Den Mother in East Rockaway for many years. She was also a Sunday School teacher at Christ Episcopal Church, Lynbrook during the 1950s and 1960s. She worked 8 years in the East Rockaway Nursing Home, preparing breakfast and lunch for the residents. Family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Perry Funeral Home Inc. 118 Union Ave. Lynbrook N.Y. Prayer Service 8pm Sunday. Funeral Service Monday 9am. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery Calverton, N.Y.
