VESELASKI - Richard M., of Beth page, on October 27, 2007, in his 56th year. Beloved son of the late Stephen Veselaski, Irene and the late Ernest Cirruzzo. Loving brother of Stephen V. (Joan), and Wayne. Cherished uncle of Kimberly, Stephen V., Jr., and Anthony Giordano. Friends may call Monday, 7-9 PM, and Tuesday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM, at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes, Hicksville Chapel (corner of West Marie St. & Jerusalem Ave.). Mass, Wed nesday, 11:30 AM, at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Hicksville. Cremation to follow, private.

wayne and family~ mike and i have alot of fond memories and fun ones of you both.. we laugh about the good times in bethpage.. my mom even bought rickys mustang back then. mike is very sad, we all feel so badly and ricky will be missed by all.

Wayne: I cannot imagine the pain and loss that you are feeling. Your brother was a very dear friend and gave me great comfort and compassion during a very difficult time in my life. We had lost touch these last two years and I was devastated to hear of his passing. My deepest heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family. Working with Rick during the past 2 years showed me what an altruistic person he was. It was really remarkable how much effort he would make just to help you. He was also fun just to talk with him. He really was a remarkable person and therefore he will be missed by many.
I strongly hope we will meet again, soon in Paradise (Psalm 37:29).

The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love, which includes not only others but ourselves as well. Rick's personal quote in life was "Treat everyone’s Heart as if it were your own".
The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen.
I am honored to have known, befriend and love Rick yet more importantly to have been loved by him.

I worked with Rick for more than two years here at Estee Lauder. He was warm, friendly, and easy to work with and he was always the guy to go to with a question. He knew a lot on his own but even if he didn't know the answer to a question he was the kind of guy who would always go the extra mile and find out for you. What more can anyone ask for in a coworker and colleague. My heart goes out to his family during as they morn this time most untimely death of a wonderful man, God rest his soul.
